Cute Workout Clothes

As you all know i started  my fitness journey 3 weeks ago and I'm happy to say that i haven't fallen off yet....lol  I do feel 10x better than i did before i started. I am no where close to my goal, but one thing i do know is that i will get there in time all i have to do is be CONSISTENT. Just like every woman who is into fashion, we want to look sexy  inside and outside of the gym and what better way to stay sexy than to wear some of the hottest workout gear out there right now.. Below are some of my favorites.

Above is New Balance 759 $94.99. I personally have and love these. I bought them 2 weeks ago and they have proven to be worth every penny.



Above is the LunaFly +2 $80.. Yes Please!!! I'll be accepting these as a gift from anyone who wants to take it upon them self to buy them for me...lol.... I'm serious

Nike Sox Turbo +11 $120. These are so badass. I want them....lol

Above is the Lululemon Grove Pants $98. I own and love these pants because of the different colors on the waist band. You can match with different colored tops.

Above is the Lululemon  Run Inspire Tights $92. I've been doing a lot of running lately and find it easier to run in tights than regular workout pants.

Above is Adidas  Response Split  Sort $20. This short is perfect for a run on a warm summer day or when you feel like having a good sweat at the gym...lol I know i have those days..

Above is the Lululemon  Power Y Tank $52. I love the simplicity of  this tank. I personally own this tank and  love it because it goes perfect with everything.

I'm trying Zumba tomorrow for the first time and I'm beyond excited.... lol It should be fun!!!



Finding the perfect dress

One of my bff  is getting married in a month and i am super excited for her. I am currently looking at a bunch of dresses for her big day and can't decide on what to wear.....lol I originally wanted to wear a maxi dress, but I've been checking out a lot of cute little dresses and the decision  has proven to be a hard one... Anyways here are a few of my favorites.

Above is the LaLa Love One Shoulder Dress $34. This dress is effortless and without a doubt the perfect color for a spring wedding.

Above is the Aqua Dove Dress with padded shoulders $224. This dress is a statement dress and will turn a few heads. My type of dress..lol It also comes in a variety of colors

Above is the Glitterati Strapless Gown by Betsey Johnson $520. Betsey Johnson makes one of the baddest dresses out there and you can't go wrong wearing one of her dresses.

Above is Asymmetric ruched Silk Jersey Dress by Catherine Malandrino $495 ... Perfection in my eyes.

Dreaming of Summer: Bathing suits

It's the middle of winter and i am already talking about bathing suits....lol I can't wait for patio season, floating down the river in next to nothing, and most importantly dumping my winter coat..

I always thought you had to have a banging bod to rock bathing suits, but soon realised that not all women are built the same. You can opt for a one piece or a two piece bathing suit depending on what you feel comfortable in. Below are some of my favorite bathing suits right now.....

Cut-out Ruffle Monokini by Victoria Secret $68. I LOVE everything about this bathing suit and can't wait to wear it this summer.

Wireless Push-up Monokini by Victoria Secret $88.. This bathing suit is bad ass!!

Kourtney Kardashian for Beach Bunny Collection $198.. This is the perfect bikini if you ever have the chance to cruise on a yacht, but i wouldn't recommend it for big chested girls...lol... Perfection!!!

Old Hollywood Beach Bunny Two piece $300... This bikini is worth every penny because the top has a built in under wire and is perfect for big chested girls like me... SEXY SEXY SEXY!!!!

Juicy Couture $305.... This Bikini screams romance to me and is perfect for a little romantic getaway with the bf.

Summer couldn't come any sooner.

Christian Louboutin Shoes

Beyonce and her badass self was seen on Valentine's day rocking these sexy Daffodile Shoes by Christian Louboutin. I love Bey and she's got a sick ass shoe game too.

Christian Louboutin is a shoe genius and can do no wrong when it comes to making the hottest shoes around.His shoes are worn by every celebrity you can think of these days and has become a signature on the red carpet. His shoes don't come cheap, but i can only dream of owning a few pair of them. Designer Bags If you are Rich, Broke, or on a Budget.

Not until 3 years ago, the idea of owning a designer purse was foreign to me, I always thought you had to make lots of money to own one or date a rich guy...lol  Just like every other girl, i own a lot of purses in different colors, shapes and sizes and most of them haven't lasted very long.If i added up all the rubbery mess in my closet that i have accumulated in the last few years i could have spent that money on a couple nice designer bags that i would still be using. In other words what I'm trying to say is that investing in a good designer purse will go a long way and last you forever. These days there are purses for every budget and I'll give you guys a rundown of all of them:

Designer Bags if you are Broke ($60-$300)

Above is Coach Wristlet Purse $68.... This purse is perfect for a night on the town and also when you don't feel like carrying a big bulky bag. I personally have this one and its one of my favorites.

Above is signature Gucci Wristlet $295. You can't go wrong with this purse. Its very affordable and worth every penny.

Above is Rebecca Minkoff Rockette Studded Bag $150. This bag is perfect for everyday use and can easily transition into night time.

Designer Bags if you are on a  Budget: ($600-$1000)

Above is the Damier Canvas Speedy 30 $800. I personally own and  love this bag and this bag goes with everything in my closet. The bag is durable and perfect for your everyday use.

Above is the Gucci "Sukey" Tote with interlocking G charm $875.  This bag is perfect for everyday use and adds a touch of sophistication to your look.

Designer bags if you are Rich and got the money to spend: ($1200-$3000)

Above is the First Balenciaga Bag $1195. This bag is badass and comes in a variety of colors. This bag is very versatile and is perfect for daytime or evening. I loooooooovvvvveeeee this BAG.

Above is the LV Monogram Vernis Alma Bag $1800. This bag is da bizness.  and makes me drool every time i see it. This bag will definitely be my next purchase

Above is the Chanel Large Flag Bag $ 2800. This bag is  ICONIC. This bag has been around for years and will never go away. It is a bag that you can pass on to your children and will stay in the family for at least a 100 years if taken good care of. This bag gives me serious butterflies...lol I am currently coaxing the bf  saving to buy this bag.. I'LL OWN YOU ONE DAY....LOL

The reason why i did this post was to inform people about the prices of designer bags because most people assume that all designer bags are expensive. I'm just showing you the different price points and how affordable most of them are. Ultimately if you want to spend some serious cash on a bag i suggest you do some research and find out which bag best suits your budget and style. I'm by no means encouraging anyone to go bankrupt just to own a designer purse. All I'm saying is save a little bit of money and buy what you can afford.

My Fitness Journey

I have always been the skinny girl until i hit puberty which was around the age of 12-13 for me and i noticed that the junk i was putting in my body was starting to catch up. I decided to get a gym membership at the age of 14... Ya i know crazy huh..  and i started working out everyday and eating  less junk healthier...lol

My senior year in High school i noticed the weight started melting off and i was estatic about it. That summer after graduation i was in the best shape of my life and felt like i could tackle any obstactle that came my way. I started University and starting dating my ex and i was on top of the world. We had a rocky relationship and also with the stresses of school the weight began to pile on again. I tried to stay on top of working out but it was very difficult working a part-time job, going to school and being in a relationship. I graduated University 40 pounds heavier and nursing a broken heart.


 Two years later i'm still 40 pounds heavier and feeling sorry for myself so i have decided to finally do something about it. I started working out again April of 2010 till September and lost 19 pounds, but the stresses from starting a new career and working two jobs and barely making time for myself caused all the pounds to pile back on.

 This time i plan to lose all 40 pounds and keep it off for ever, hence why i started this blog to make my weight loss struggle public and to encourage other women going through the same struggle. So two weeks ago i started working out again by doing intense cardio and areobics training and started eating healthy and making healthier decisions with food. So far i've lost 5 pounds!!! Yay.. I am so excited for my new journey and cant wait to show you results..
