Fashion: House of Holland Tights
I first saw these when Coco from cocoandlowe posted pictures of her on vacation wearing them. I did a little bit of research and found out that it was created by fashion genius Henry Holland. I love everything about this mock suspender tights. It gives you the sexy sophisticated look without the hassle of putting it together from scratch.
You can purchase them Here in Canada and the US
I recently purchased one and still looking for the perfect outfit to wear it with. Picture soon to come.

Spring Color :Cobalt Blue
When it comes to fashion i typically play it safe and usually stick with neutral colors or a little bit of yellow sometimes and never dare to wear brighter colors. One color that has caught my eye recently is Cobalt Blue. I have noticed it on lots of celebrities and can't help but fall in love. I'd say Cobalt Blue is the new black this spring!
P.s Blake Lively definitely knows how to pull off this color.
If you are looking to try this color, Asos and Lulus have a few items in Cobalt Blue. I'm currently searching for the perfect cobalt blue shirt and will post pictures as soon i find one.
P.s Blake Lively definitely knows how to pull off this color.
Rachael Roy even twit picted a picture on twitter with her wearing a blazer from her spring collection.
Hope this post brightens your day.

Fashion: Summer essentials
Even though it doesn't feel like Spring just yet in Calgary, I love to dream about warm weather and wearing less clothing. Right now is the time to buy a few key pieces for the summer. In case you haven't noticed stores are stocked with denim shorts, bikinis, straw hats, sunglasses and sandals.
I was in H&M the other day and they have tons of hats, shorts and sandals...e.t.c I would also recommend checking out Forever 21, Urban Behavior or Old Navy. Most of the items listed above won't cost you more than $20 per item.
Have Fun shopping!!
xoxo

Fashion: Chris Brown's New Girlfriend (Kae Karrueche)
After Chris Brown's lil fiasco at Good Morning America yesterday, he was seen out having lunch with his new girfriend Kae. She ain't cute in the face if you ask me, but i think she has a banging body and a great sense of style. I loveeeeeeeeeeee the cape and boots that she is wearing. Yes pls! Aritzia has something similar to that cape from their Fall/Winter 10 Collection.
Below is the Aritzia version
I also found similar wedge boots by Steve Madden
Cute look for sure. What do you all think?

Jewelry: House of Harlow 1960
Nicole Richie has grown into a beautiful wife and mother and i can't help but envy her great sense of style. I definitely like her post Paris Hilton and i think she has matured a lot in the last few years, but i do think she could use a cheeseburger or two... She is way too skinny..lol Yes, i am a hypocrite considering i talk about losing weight on here a lot.
I am so in love with her jewelry line right now. Nicole has said that her jewelry line collection was inspired by her love for the 60's and 70's which she channels in the way she dresses. Her jewelry is being worn by some of the hottest celebrities in Hollywood right now such as Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Rhianna, and Khloe Kardashian and i want almost everything from the whole collection. Below are a few of my favorite pieces.
Black Resin Necklace $140
Hexagon Drop Earrings $70. I absolutely love theses
Below are some fabulous pictures of her and other celebrities wearing pieces from her jewelry line
Enjoy!!!

My Weight Loss Journey
It's been two months since i started my weight loss journey and life couldn't be any better. I am happy to say that i have lost fifteen pounds and counting... Woo hooo. I can tell you that it wasn't easy, but i did it. Getting to where I'm at today has taken a lot of sacrifices. I am by no means close to my goal, but I'm definitely getting there. I have had to do early morning workouts, give up my favorites foods, and most importantly changed my mentality with regards to food , but i know it will be worth it in the end. Honestly what has kept me motivated has been the fear of failing.
I made my weight loss journey public and the last thing i want to do is fail and let my self down. I met with one of my BFF this past week and we got talking about the dedication it takes into making it happen with regards to weight loss and it made me realize that weight loss is one of the easiest things and hardiest at the same time to do and it takes the right state of mind to accomplish your goals. I'll give you a run down of what my typical week is like.
Monday: 25 minute run on the treadmill at 2.0 incline and 5.7 speed. Elliptical Trainer for 25 mins. 20 minutes of circuit training and 10 minutes of Abs training.
Tuesday: 25 minute run on the treadmill at 2.0 incline and 5.7 speed. 55 minute kickboxing class.
Wednesday: Repeat Monday's Workout. Wednesday nights i do Yoga for an hour.
Thursday: Repeat Tuesday's workout.
Friday: 25 minute run on the treadmill at 2.0 incline and 5.7 speed and weight training class. This class consists of using barbell to strengthen and tone your entire body. It challenges all of your major muscle groups, using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. This class is the business and will whip you into shape in no time. It's not about how much weight you lift, its about using the proper technique.
Meal Plan:
Breakfast usually consists of Two eggs with Weight Watchers bread or a packet of Oatmeal with Fruit or Low fat Yogurt.
Lunch is usually a Chicken salad or deli wrap with lots of vegetables.
Snack usually consists of sliced cucumber, sweet peas, apple sauce, jello, Weight Watchers carrot cake or muffin and a medium sized fruit.
Dinner is usually a small piece of beef tenderloin, salmon, pork. Lots of vegetables and rice or potato.
I try to drink 6-8 glasses of water
I am trying to cut out alcohol completely, but its proven to be harder than i thought. I'm not an alcoholic by no means, but i tend to drink in social settings or when hanging out with friends. Cutting out the alcohol will definitely help with my weight loss. Its my best friends wedding next weekend and my other best friends birthday a week later. I have promised to quit drinking for a few months after those events....lol I hope i can.
I'm almost there!!!
