Weekly Adventures

 Sorry about my  infrequent blog posts, I have been in a funk lately and don't know how to get out of it. I pride myself in being a strong person, but just like every human, I am sometimes susceptible to feelings that I can't control and I let it get the best of me.  I am very good at masking hurt and pain and putting on a smile to deter questions and concern from the people that love me, but I can tell you that I feel much better today than I did two weeks ago, hence why I am talking about it. I have so much to be grateful for and I also believe that after you've faced the worst, your days can only get better!

I've been having an amazing summer and don't want it to be over. This past weekend was filled with laughter and spending time with some amazing women in my life.  I celebrated the birthday of a beautiful, smart and kindhearted woman who I am honored to call a friend and I also took my raft out on the Elbow River for the first time this summer.
