12 Years Later

I was at one of my dear friends from high school baby shower two weekends ago and it got me thinking how quickly time has past. I swear it seems like just yesterday we were graduating high school with no plan as to what we wanted to do in the future, now fast forward 10 years later and she is married and having her first born anytime soon. Congrats Nas! I can't wait for the next ten years of our lives and cheers to 12 years of friendship.

Zoe Saldana has caught my eyes lately with her fearless fashion style and great looks.  This Dominican beauty is no stranger to fashion and baring it all on the red carpet while still keeping it classy.  She is a risk taker when it comes to her style and I love her choices of soft feminine silhouette which accentuates her slender figure. Happy Birthday Blog!

Today marks the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of my blog!! I can't believe Its been a year since I decided to follow a small part of my dreams and do something that I have always wanted to do. PARK Fashion Industry Mixer

Thursday night my bff and I attended a Fashion Mixer put together by PARK which stands for "Promoting Artists, Redefining Kulture." PARK is a network organized by a group of young Calgarian artists to promote and support fellow emerging artists in the community.  The event was held in the Gerry Thomas Gallery and I got to mingle witth some of Calgary's finest in the fashion industry.

So happy to have met many local fashion bloggers and designers and I definitely can't wait for the next event!
