I had the pleasure of covering the Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) opening gala a little over a week ago for Fashionsign Ezine and it was an absolute pleasure and a dream come true. I remember many years ago applying to Carleton University in Ottawa for Journalism and never following through with it, well this experience was definitely a taste of what I've always wanted and I am so grateful to Fashionsign- Ezine for giving me the opportunity to live out my dreams.

The opening gala screened award winning producer and director Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s magical 3D comedy, The Young and Prodigious T.S Spivet. The story is about a young boy played by Kyle Catlett who has a passion for cartography. He wins an award for one of his creations and then leaves home without telling anyone to receive his award. This movie was partly filmed in Alberta and Washington DC and has amazing cinematography
