2015 was an amazing year for the blog and Joyce's Closet. It continues to amaze me how many opportunities I have had from the blog and how much Joyce's Closet has grown in 3 years. It seems like just yesterday I started Joyce's Closet only making a little over $3,000 in the first year. The business grew 10 folds in its second year and so much more this past year, you wouldn't even believe the number if I told you how much.

Making money is amazing, but it's really more than that for me. It's amazing to see how an idea turned into a full blown business and I absolutely love the impact I have on the women who I come in contact with daily. I get a high from seeing the smile on their faces and how much they appreciate what I do. That is part of the motivation that keeps me going.

Joyce's Closet has been successful in so many ways, but  a service the business offers that has really taken off this year is our Dress Rental service. The idea of not having to spend a fortune to wear a beautiful dress is both practical, budget friendly and environmentally friendly.

Imagine how often we go shopping for an outfit every time we have an event to attend? Frankly, I am guilty of it too.

My goal for the new year is to impact the lives of young girls in the community through volunteering and events and Joyce's Closet is currently working on our first event of the year.

My advice to everyone for the New Year is to follow your dreams and do what makes you happy.

xoxo
