Wedding Wednesday: Azuridge Estate

The 2016 wedding season has officially started and it is about to be a busy year with 6 weddings on the itinerary, including mine. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending one of my dear friend's wedding at Azuridge Estate. A beautiful boutique hotel tucked away in the Foothills South of Calgary. It was small, intimate and beyond beautiful.

Word has it that the estate was previously owned by Calgary business mogul Mogen Smedwho owned and operated Smed International for many years in Calgary. The estate was Mogen Smed's family home and also where he entertained his friends and business associates before selling the estate to a private company who turned it into a hotel.

To be honest, everything about this wedding was on point. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, 5 course dinner and dance afterwards. They seemed to have it all figured out and everything went without a hitch.

The one thing I look forward to about attending all these weddings is getting inspiration and taking one or two unique touches that they had and adding it to my wedding or learning from some of the mistakes they made and making sure I avoid that on my day.

I can honestly say I left Juliana and Steve's wedding inspired. It was elegant, beautiful and there was so much love in the room.

Congrats to Juliana & Steve. Thank you for having T and I be part of your special day.  I wish you all the love, happiness and lots of babies...

Until the next wedding.
